No, you can't do that...but you can use "system.get date/time" viewtopic.php?f=170&t=1237, then use type text or send keys with the variable results.

Hi guys,

I have come across Gigus's post on how to send press key to notepad and his code is printed as follows
Code:
 begin
Window.Send press keys("Untitled - Notepad", "yes", "Edit", "Blue Eye Macro")
 end

It works for me to print Blue Eye Macro on Notepad. Now as some of you might know that using the shortcut key F5 in notepad will print you the current time and date. I tried to modified Gigus's code like below.
Code:
 begin
     Window.Send press keys("Untitled - Notepad","Yes","Edit","{<f5>}")
 end

But nothing happened when I ran the macro. Could someone give me a hand on this?
