Is it possible to set a value of one variable relating to the other variable?

My case is that I have many square grids on the screen (same size and ratio). They all have the same color. But I want to check whenever the colour of one grid changes, I need to locate all grid position.

Here is my idea, if 1st grid position is (x,y). The 2nd grid in the same row postion shloud be (x+d,y) and 3rd grid will be (x+2d,y) ...... until. (X+nd, y) for the last grid of the row.

So, back to the question. It will be helpful if I input just the 1st grid position and I could generate all grids position from one input Using BEM code. Has anyone done this before?
