Hi!

I would like to ask is it possible to make BEM send command to my game pad or gaming mouse?

Example:

If color can be located on screen(RGB)
Begin
Game pad press button "1"
end

or

If color can be located on screen(RGB)
Begin
Gaming mouse press button "1"
end

Well first, let's get this out of the way...keyboard/mice are input devices so generally they are not made to receive data. But with technology some of the gaming peripherals do receive data...but it will be the same as I'm describing below.

So the short answer to your question is "no", however the real answer is it's possible, but difficult.

**If BEM registers your mouse/controller buttons as regular keypresses (numbers/letters), then yes you use it by default.

It depends on the peripheral and how it's programmed. For example I have a Razor Naga with 12 buttons on the side. By default they correspond to the keyboard numbers 1-0 and then "-" and "=" if I'm not running Razor Synapse. However, I am running Razor Synapse and I've changed some of them through that software to other keys. When I use the keyfinder in BEM's Investigator, the information it receives from the keypresses of those 12 mouse buttons is all the same hash/string (like {<123asd5q>}). If you scripted BEM to press that "string" it wouldn't work. So that's where the short answer "no" comes from.

But, if you realize that Razor Synapse is really what's controlling those keypresses, then you could write a plugin for BEM to interact with Razor Synapse and then do what you're asking below...and probably the same with other controllers.

Maybe some others can share their experiences; maybe someone has a work-around for it, but that's all I know at the moment. We have some smart programmers on the forum, so I'm sure a few of them could provide some insight.

Thank you! It seems that I'm stuck again at creating plugins.
Hope someone can make guides on creating plugin regarding this matter.

I am trying to find a way to make BEM work on games that can detect Virtual drivers.

Hopefully you won't have to worry about that for too much longer. It's been a long time since the last BEM update. I've been talking to Gigus about it; no estimated date right now though...but when it comes out, you won't have to worry about detection for awhile again.

Well you can use the window 7 virtual driver on a windows 10 os by running BEM on compatibility mode windows 7 and install windows 7 virtual driver.. That's what I do to install virtual drivers on windows 10.. Sometimes thou it is bugged during installation..
