Hello so my mate made me a macro long time ago but today i resetted my pc and it dont works anymore, its for a very old game but the thing is i need the investigation tool to screenshot the game so i can choose the RGB of the crosshair but everytime i screenshot the game i get my windows background, the only way to get screenshot of the game is when i apply DirectX but then my game always crash, is there a way to fix that?

my code is btw:

begin
System.Get combined screen resolution("2", "2")
if Color.Near coordinate is within (RGB range)("128", "0", "128", "30", "641", "512", "30")
and
Color.Near coordinate is within (RGB range)("181", "0", "0", "20", "643", "488", "30")
begin
Mouse.Click("Left")
Macro.Pause("30")
end
end

Not sure why enabling DirectX capturing would cause your game to crash. Are you able to enable it in BEM and then start the game? If so, then you should be fine because even if your game crashed by taking a screenshot, you would have it in Investigator to build your script.

You could still take a full screen screenshot from the Windows commands and then upload it to Investigator for your script.

Uhm maybe i can explain it a lil better,

So there is a game Gunz thats really old, but what the script only does is left click when the RGB is correct(crosshair is on enemy).
But since i resetted my pc it wont take screenshots of the game without DirectX on. When im using DirectX with the game BEM crashes itself after a few minutes

How can i take a screenshot of the game with the investigation tool without getting my background
On windows 7 i found a bug to get rid of that by clicking on Personalize setting and then Aero Theme
but on Win 10 you dont have this option

Is there a comment to let it make a screenshot for only that game or process

Are you running the macro at the same time? If you are you need to add some pauses in your script; that should fix your problem.
- unless your running multiple monitors at different resolutions...if so, I would need to know -

Maybe something like this:
Code:
begin
System.Get combined screen resolution("2", "2")
macro.pause("1000")
if Color.Near coordinate is within (RGB range)("128", "0", "128", "30", "641", "512", "30")
and
Color.Near coordinate is within (RGB range)("181", "0", "0", "20", "643", "488", "30")
begin
Mouse.Click("Left")
Macro.Pause("1000")

end
end
Start with a 1 sec pause and see if that works. If it does, then you can gradually decrease it until it crashes again (should work with 100ms...but start here first).

Additionally, I'm sure this isn't your entire macro because you getting the combined screen resolution and then not doing anything with it. So if you have a lot of pixel pattern/color searches, you need to add some pauses. BEM can take 100s of screenshots a second and if you running a lot of them in a loop with no pause, it will crash you system.
