I’m not a regular forum user but I have used previous versions of the blue eye macro for quite awhile, after downloading version 2.0 I haven't been able to use the blue eye macro at all, it installs fine but I can't use the program, it doesn’t give me the option to try as a trial or even to “obtain licence”, when I click obtain licence on “free”, “1 month” or “1 year” nothing happens. I was considering buying it, but I would like to at least try the new version out first before purchasing it.

please explain it more specific, does it execute? you told that you cant use it, but also that "you click obtain licence" button, that means the program launches?

i dont know exacly how this works, but you get only 1 - 30 days trial, trial comes with your "Blue Eye ID", and thats tied to the hardware inside your machine, so your license might be just outdated, dont know how this works, since i got my license before it expired, reinstalling or installing new vers wont give you new trial i think :)

if everything could be ok you could tell what OS youre running, and you could also post your error.log (inside blue eye folder) if BE crashes

hope this helps somehow

Hi,

What you are experiencing is simply a trial that has expired.
The 30 day trial goes across versions, meaning your version 1.4 was also expired when you installed version 2.0.

The obtain license buttons should work just fine though, (I just tested again) the first button should open a post here at the forum, and the other two, will take you to a order page at PayPal)

However Blue Eye is not about making money, the only reason it even has licenses, is because its a way to get people to be active on the forum, since free licenses are handed out all the time.

In fact the money that does come from people who rather buy a license than participate in the community, are actually spent on Sponsored listings at download.com, buying a certificate for signing code, web hosting etc.

Anyway...
If you launch Blue Eye it will tell you you are on day 54 of 30 (or whatever day your on) in the top right corner you see your Blue Eye ID.

Insert that ID in your forum profile, and ill reset your trial period, allowing you to try out 2.0 for another full trial period, how does that sound? :)

(If you double click the ID its copied to clipboard, like "ID: 0851-AB1D-6332-A2A5-23CD" just remove the "ID: " and insert just the ID in your forum profile)

Thanks for the quick reply's, I’ve updated my id but still can't quite figure out why the require licence button isn't working; but I shall worry about that when my trial runs out again.

Restart Blue Eye, and your trial will reset.

What is your default web browser?

Ive tested the Obtain license buttons with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

I’m really sorry but I've just realised I typed one digit wrong on my id code and therefore it still isn't working I’ve updated it now though, also I use Firefox, and I noticed that above the "obtain licence" button it either says "error connecting to server" in red or "no licences available" in green, at the Thank you for evaluating blue eye screen.

Ive created a new license for the updated ID.
Restart Blue Eye and you should be set.

"error connecting to server" means it was unable to check for a license with the license server, either you where not connected to the internet, or the license server was temporary unavailable (which is not unlikely, we are changing to a new host for that server as well soon)

Hi,

I installed Blue Eye Macro about 1 year ago to check it out. Used it only for a few days and forgot about it.

I wanted to use it again now, the version changed, and I wanted to see if it can help me with a game.

I installed the new version but at trial I have 354/30, could I please get the trial again? I will contribute to the forums to get a free licence, but can't without being able to use the program.

TY,
Danny
