Hi all, have been trying to get BEM to read the scores as in attached screenshot but it seems to struggle with them, it works fine with other numbers and words.

Any suggestions on what to try? :?: :?: Have been using the ocr plugin in simple mode.

is it possible to exclude the icon from the scan? that's probably the issue.

Hi Sickslug, thanks for reply. Have tried reading txt from between the icon and numbers and also removing icon using internet font options but still not getting it right. Is the font ok for ocr ?

Also when mouse is on top of the numbers they do fade to a more grey as in second attached photo.

very interesting. whatever you're reading is designed to defeat ocr - each color channel has a lot of noise that looks nothing like a character (see image below). I've never seen that sort of protection.
good news is you can beat it
bad news is simple mode won't cut it
try creating a profile with the settings in the picture below using the profiler using your coordinates.

if you need the target location dynamic at runtime, you'll have to edit the .pro file in the plugins directory or create a new file within the macro - I overlooked adding a profile mode with variable coordinates like simple mode. i don't plan on updating the plugin immediately, lots of other projects atm so you may have to get creative

Hi sickslug,

Can you help me solve the problem with this captcha? So far most of the cases i was being in, i used your plugin and it worked fine. But for this one, i can't do anything about it. It seems the tesseract itself cannot recognize it. Can you give me any advices about this problem?

Thank you.

Captcha was made specifically to defeat OCR.

I'm assuming the dialog doesn't pop up too often - what I would do is set up a macro to take a screenshot of the captcha window, send it to an email and wait for the reply, then put that text in the box. If you get emails on your phone like I do it should work out fine. If you found this plugin you probably also have my screenshot and txtmsg plugins - this should be all you need to do things that way.

Happy hunting

How can I make it only find numbers arranging from 1-4? there's only all number option I don't need to find 5-9

Thank you.

is it getting false positives? it should read whatever's there, the options are just to make it favor certain choices. best thing you can do is shrink your search area and make sure the filter settings give you good contrast between text and background.
