Code:
Plugins.chatengine(".xml file path", "input", "output variable", "repeat holdoff (min)", "keep log entries (min)", "default response")
updates
  • will not process the same input within "keep log entries" period
  • will not reply to its own replies within "keep log entries" period
  • will not match parts of words if criteria has a trailing space ("yo" criteria will match "you", but "yo " will not)

This is very interesting. I was making one myself as well. Actually, I am using your OCR plugin to read the chat box since I couldn't find a pointer, you are always one step ahead of me haha!. Anyway, I've got an idea that might be cool to implement: you could make it so that instead of just replying it also has the option to call a function. Just to give an example, it could call a function that would make your char sit down or close the client. The combinations are infinite.

Anyway, great job man, I love your work!

you can set it up the way you described within the macro:

    if variable.is equal to ("output", "nothing")

            Variable.Set ("output", "done")
        end
    if variable.is equal to ("output", "sit")
        begin
            Function.Execute ("sit")
            Variable.Set ("output", "done")
        end
    if variable.is not equal to ("output", "done")
        begin
            Function.Execute ("chat")
        end
end

after all the replies don't have to be chat :)
