Hello, I had the same problem but I have a copy of the game and I just replaced it,
you can download again the game, another game that has gameguard or you can ask someone if he can upload the gameguard file

I did that and it was not working.
I asked in another forum and the only fix was using a VPN to download the Game Guard files.

So I suffered from the problem for about a week now and I've found different ways to work around it. The most interesting thing about it is that no method is guaranteed, at least for me. Sometimes I'll do one method and when DMO crashes and I try doing the same thing it refuses to work. Anyway here are the methods I've come up with. (I use DMO from Steam so the same methods may not work with you)
1. Restart your computer then try launching it
2. Turn off your Firewall then try launching it
3. Turn off your Firewall and then restart while you are still disconnected from the firewall
4. Go directly to where the game was installed and try launch DMLauncher.exe from there instead of Steam
5. In the same place should be an application called UpdateManager.exe try launching that instead
6. Delete the GameGuard files.

Now all of these methods have worked for me but as stated before their success rate is random. The one that works the best for and is about 90% success rate is #4

Hope I helped :D

I dont use Steam so the DMLauncher.exe one didnt really have an effect.
I tried turning my firewall and restarting my computer multiple times and it never worked so like you said its random. I deleted the game guard files but it never worked.

The solution that worked was the one with the VPN.

So sorry that I wasn't able to be of much help. I know how annoying it is to deal with this. :(

The Reason Why Its Happening Is Because Of Short Seconds Of Network Disconnects Which Terminates GG Update
Its Fixed With VPN And Connection is Stable Due To It
