Hello Everyone:

I was wondering if it was possible to only install the virtual drivers for solely the keyboard. Any time I install both on windows 10 my touchpad stops working so I was wondering if I could only install the keyboard and avoid having the mouse mess up my trackpad.

That shouldn't happen, but no there's not a keyboard only virtual driver like andre3ro said.

The only problem we have ever had with them is when the synaptics drivers are out of date; then updating the drivers has always fixed it (once again, like andre3ro said).

Here's a link to a google search on the drivers for informational purposes:

https://www.google.com/search?source=hp ... XSGocNlOVY

There are generic and oem drivers, but if you want us check it out we will need the specific information about your computer and OS so we can try and duplicate the problem. There is a chance that your manufacturer has done something new that we haven't tested. Historically though, they've usually just put out an update and once you update it, the virtual drivers will work again. Let us know.

I tried and now my mousepad works but my optical mouse doesn't. It's always mousim giving me the issue. Any way to disable it and still just keep the keyboard?

Well that's a different issue if you're talking about a mouse now. When you plug in an external mouse, Windows will (should) disable the synaptic drivers for the touchpad...so you shouldn't be able to use the touch pad with a usb mouse. It's still not a problem with BEM, it happens on almost all laptops. Try this:
1 turn your computer off
2 unplug the mouse
3 start computer (without external mouse)
4 restart computer
5 plug in the mouse
6 your computer should recognize the mouse and load drivers

I manage to get them to both works. The only issue now is that if I plug out my usb mouse my computer gives me a bluescreen. The only way to avoid that is to shut off the laptop, plug out usb mouse, then restart it without the usb mouse.
