Hmm, so I've had the experience of being an I.T./Network and Desktop Engineer intern of a big production company.

So my question is, how will licensing work for a company(from a business standpoint), I mean each computer has to have legit licenses for all software. (Because of auditing., if the company is caught using unlicensed or pirated software, penalties are very high.) If I ever get hired by a similar company and work in the same field, is it possible to have a business license bundle, the one similar to Microsoft wherein 1 license is valid for up to at least 3 computers?

Next is you might ask why would I bother using macro for a company? Well, I can see macro being used for VoIP, because the company had the issue of losing phone connections when VoIP Server was having errors, and we couldn't figure out what causes it but the simplest solution was restarting the server, a simple macro of if statement can do the reset function probably..other uses would be for the daily I.T. network connectivity check for all computers, (Check for connection, or simple ping back and recording.) Another use would be the company email/server file monitoring for those employees about to reach the limit amount of data/file storage size, A macro to remind them if they are nearing the limit and/or if they have to clear up storage space. There is so much possible application for this..

I'm actually somewhat interested in this too as I have multiple laptops and a work, home, and office PC that I think some sort of bundle package could be possibly appealing.

Oh, do you know about "Remote Desktop"? if you are using multiple computers, I suggest installing RealVNC on all of them for better access and utility stuff. This software allows you to have full access to other computers as long as you have admin rights and know the password, Its like you are actually using the system without physically using it.

:?: I'm sorry if its wrong or against the rules to advertise other softwares here..I forgot if its in the rules or not (I will read them when I feel..well, not feel lazy :D )

..In no way I have benefits in advertising any software, Its just I'm trying to share my knowledge.

Licenses are per machine BE Macro is installed on.
If you remote desktop to a machine, its still the machine its installed on that the licence is tied to.

If you need bundle-licenses for several machines, pm me for a quote.
