Just some quick information for those of you who are curious about Windows 8 and BEM. After playing around in Windows 8 for a bit, I discovered that enabling .NET Framework 3.5 in the Windows features allows Blue Eye Macro to start normally. To enable/disable Windows features follow this path "Control Panel>Programs and Features>Turn Windows Features On and Off".

As exciting as that may be, the Windows 7 x64 virtual drivers do not work for Windows 8. I have not tested the x32 drivers. If you install these drivers and attempt to use them, your computer will more than likely crash and then reboot. This shouldn't do any damage, but you should probably avoid it anyway. You cannot create macros or import macros from the repository yet. For those of you who choose to install Blue Eye on Windows 8, any information you acquire while using it can be posted here for review.

For those of you not so adventurous, Gigus has stated several times that he is working to make Blue Eye Macro compatible with Windows 8. Please try to avoid creating further topics and/or posts about that subject, unless it is related to this thread.

If you have any questions feel free to send me a PM! :)

would the virtual drivers work within a vm that is running xp?
I don't know enough about drivers to say for certain, but I am thinking the answer is no

I have never used BEM with a Virtual Machine, but i'm 95% sure that if you install Blue Eye within the virtual machine it will work fine.

I see no reason for it not to work, so go ahead and give it a try. Botting from within a VM is fairly common, but I have never personally done so with Windows 8.
