Would it not be easier and better performance to read the memory?

Scanning for pixels slows other stuff down. Imagine scanning for health/manna/stamina/mob positions/char positions and also the "can not be located" scans which also perform a scan, all at once. It is much less tasking on the script if you read a digit from the memory. Also it isn't always accurate scanning pixels, reading from memory will always return the right value.
