I have a feeling this will be an interesting discussion.

As the title says, you can ask a mod "anything" you want.

Of course, the restrictions here are to keep it friendly (I will allow joking around if done right, of course), and the Moderators can refuse to answer any question without reason.

Note that:

  • You may ask multiple questions within a post
  • The rules from the Official Forum Rules on "What not to ask" will apply.
  • If you want to direct question(s) to a certain individual, mention @Critical or @Syrifina. Otherwise, it will be forwarded to the both of us.
  • Gigus is a Developer, and he has his own Q&A session here: viewtopic.php?f=144&t=704
  • Most importantly, if there are any problems going on in the forums, PM them instead of asking here.

Otherwise, I'll open this thread to everyone. Just have fun and the thread will be a Holiday party before you know it.

Use Blue Eye Macro.

If there was one, then "Thou shall not steal" will affect all online pirates by now.

Decomposition of your body.

Go see a doctor for that. After that, I will repeat what he just said.

Infinity is Infinity.
Even if it's Infinity + Infinity, you'll still get Infinity.
Even if it's Infinity Times Infinity, you'll still get Infinity.
However, 0 divided by Infinity is 0 and Infinity minus Infinity is zero.

How many numbers between 1 and 2 eh? Back to school you go:

There are zero numbers in between 1 and 2. Since you want to play devil's advocate and have taken the initiative to break the ice, allow me to add more walls of text.

You can also represent the answer above formally known as a limit expressed as "The limit of x as it's approaching to '2' through both sides given an integer approach [x] results in a non-existant result":

Image

lim [x] = Does Not Exist
x -> 2

However, you may want to throw in a curveball at me and say that that there are decimals between 1 and 2. The thing is due to the fact that numbers would eventually lead up to "2" no matter how many numbers you add after the decimals, all numbers would eventually lead up to two. Therefore, you can't say that the numbers between 1 and 2 are an infinite amount, but rather a very large amount if you want to do this the decimal way. So for the answer between 1 to 2 with decimals included, it would be a positively large amount of numbers between 1 and 2, but not infinity.

Your move, Dragon.

Wrong the answer is infinite but if i said whole numbers then yes your right. Because their is an infinite amount of numbers after the decimal point :P .

Your move crit!!

Edit just read what you said abot dec points but then by that theory you cant have infinite space even tho it is physically posible as the space has no matter so even if it stays the same size the space between two objects in a vacuum is infinite because their is no measure meant.

Also infinite just means no limits not no roof.

Oh and were talking about the quantity of numbers in between 1 and 2 it can be infinite as it would never stop going up untill we got fed up and said 2.

You see what I did there? I gave you two answers and put an OR in between them. Therefore, I'm guaranteed to at least get a "correct" answer from you.
However, my answer still stands since I still summarized everything I said depending on integer vs. decimal approach.

Sure, you can have an infinite amount of numbers after the decimal, but the number growth in a huge decimal place is so small that by estimation, it practically gets ignored.

People on their calculator won't write 3.141414141414141414141414 (repeating). If they can estimate it, they would write it as:
...__
3.14.

Or truncate it to the thousandth decimal place.

Yes, infinity has no limits, but you can't also ignore what I said either.
Go ahead and ask anything else, you sly trickster. I'm done with this question.

Okay then why does color. At coordinate is not (RGB)() always return true even if its not in maplestory if im checking the backgorund to see if a mob is in front of that pixel. It even happens if i set a range??

Make sure the range is at "0" for exact. Otherwise it may not work.

Boxers. They're comfortable.

Briefs are uncomfortable and they don't give enough room.
Going commando with jeans is... One dangerous journey.
