and how do u remove the annoying captcha?
any ideas guys?

Can you post screenshots of what you are trying to do so some of us who don't play the game can have a better idea?

Basically the game's Launcher uses Internet Explorer as the default browser to load up its patchers splash and login screen, he wants the launcher/patcher to use Chrome as default instead of IE.


Only way I can think of is uninstalling IE.

Depends on if it's opening a link or calling a the browser to open it. You can try changing your default browser. If that doesn't work, you should still be able to fake it out to force it launch Chrome by changing the process to call the same process but renaming it to Chrome.

This is what the patcher looks like, the images in the middle are all opened in I.E.



And this is what appears when you click the start game, it loads up another page for login information.



Both are loaded up with IE even if you set Chrome as your default browser, I tried looking through the folders to search for a way to edit the browser it uses to load up but don't see any within its settings.

From what I see there, that looks like an internal browser the game is using. Even if it is calling IE, since it's internal to the game, you won't be able to change it most likely unless you edit the game launcher itself. The game probably has logic to look at that specific browser window, so even if you change it to Chrome or something else, it will probably fail.

yeah tried changing all default settings to chrome but still its using IE.. tried uninstalling IE but technically ur not uninstalling it ur just removing some of the updates. still it didnt work. followed all guides i can find still its using IE. annoying game it is hehe
